Reportable Communicable Diseases

The following are reportable diseases that must be reported to state (573) 751-3377 or federal (573) 658-9850 officials within 24 hours of suspicion or diagnosis:

Conditions—All species

Any highly unusual condition, unusual clinical signs of any kind, and any instance of high morbidity and/or mortality that does not fit classical picture of endemic disease and has not previously been identified in Missouri or the United States.

Possible list of clinical signs but not all inclusive:

Vesicular lesions
Neurological symptoms
Severe abortion storms of unknown etiology
Hemorrhagic septicemia
Pox or lumpy skin conditions
Suspicious necropsy finds
